Caspars in Bad Driburg

Great location, delicious, nice staff

Seldom experienced such a chaotic process. Every employee has an activity, someone takes an order, but has not brought a card beforehand. This MA is not responsible for bringing an ashtray, so hope that another MA will come by who is responsible for it. Out of 5 drinks, only 4 are delivered correctly, approximately 25 minutes after ordering. That was already MA No. 3! If you ask for the bill, you have to hope that this MA doesn't forget to pass it on. So we had a period of 1.5 hours from table assignment to billing. Personally, I think 25 € for 5 drinks (coffee, cola, apple spritzer) is not exactly a snapper. For anyone who has a lot of time and, above all, patience, this is the place to be.

Very disappointing

The only positive thing about Caspars is the really nice location both inside and outside. Unfortunately, the food tastes mediocre and is unreasonably expensive. For us there was unaromatic pasta, mayonnaise bowls that were already covered with a yellow, firm skin, dry bread in roll quality without butter or olive oil. In addition, there was unfortunately the unprofessional service (lack of tablet / plate carrying skills), which, despite politeness, did not fit the ambience and price range. When I order a large apple spritzer, I simply don't expect a 0.7l bottle without being asked beforehand.

Tomorrow I will visit the Caspars with my husband (currently in rehab) for the third time in a row. In times of corona pandemic of course, to observe hygiene regulations. This is implemented excellently. I enjoy the excellent service, the delicious dishes accompanied by musical sounds. It doesn't get any better ... As always very nice, it couldn't be better.

We stood longer in front of the entrance and were simply ignored and not served. When a table became free we simply sat down, we were almost shouted at by an employee that we couldn't just sit down and that we had to register, that was very big on the sign. The sign was covered by a menu, we had no way of reading it. The staff member was pretty rude to us and we decided to stop drinking coffee there. Only a southern employee was very polite to us.

The only positive is the location and the location. We had to queue for a long time to get a place on the terrace. We had family members with us who came from the nearby rehab and could not stand for long. No chairs or other waiting options. 1. Get wrong drink - waiter was advised, then I was bluntly said "nothing else" 2. Coffee was spilled to the table 3. Broken glass on the floor on which children or dogs run. I have rarely seen such a bad service !!! No structure and organization.

Been there on Sunday lunchtime. Sat outside. Service reorganized, the order was taken several times. Food then came incomplete and almost cold. Never again.

Unfortunately, the vegetarian cuisine was not very mature. The dessert, however, tastefully combined.

Service efficient, courteous and friendly. The menu is of high quality, imaginative and very tasty - real feel-good food!

We had a great tasty dinner menu there. The veal slab was tender as butter. Delicious. Well preheated plates. We also loved the breakfast buffet. Great selection and top quality.

Unfortunately, the service only passes us, although we have already told her several times that we want to order. Do not we look rich enough?

First time been there after the concept change of the restaurants in the park (horse stable closed, warm food and coffee and cake only in Caspar's). The ambience was always very nice and upscale, even outside you will find very nice places, there is nothing to complain about. The menu is relatively small and offers simple but very high quality dishes with local ingredients. A vegetarian entree is always there, a vegan not necessarily. As expected at a restaurant of this class, the menu changes seasonally. The prices are upscale but quite adequate for the food. Generally a very nice, upscale restaurant with really good food.

At first the view on the map was very tempting to spend an evening in a nice ambience. The ambience fit, no question. After ordering we were surprised, as our food was already after about 5 minutes in front of us. Nice that it worked so fast, but how does it work? The cream sauce on the plates was unfortunately already clotted, otherwise the court was not of the class, the restaurant would like to comply. Too bad to spend so much money on it. Unfortunately, it was also not possible to order a "senior portion", although I am unable to health to create normal portions. Instead, the waitress answered us with the words: "Of course we can do less on the plate, but the price remains the same". For a restaurant of this kind - and in the middle of the spa, absolutely incomprehensible. Guests at the next table have also complained about the quality of the food.

Very delicious but unfortunately we were served a little later and had to wait a bit and the waiters passed us by. Was later apologized for I found very good and for our dogs there was also water. Very well
